Application
Regaduct Acoustic is ideal for duct applications where low noise
levels are required. The long lengths allow the complete installation
to be made in sound absorbing duct providing both thermal and acoustic
installation without extra operations.
Construction
The double layer inner tube is perforated to provide a 25% open
area, this is wrapped with high density mineral wool. Between the
mineral wool and the inner tube a woven glass fibre cloth prevents
fibre intrusion into the air stream. The outer cover is a seamless
sleeve of aluminium faced polyester with a fibre glass scrim reinforcement,
this provides both a vapour barrier and a strong outer tube to maintain
air tightness.
Range
Regaduct Acoustic is available in diameters from 80mm to 500mm. To
provide varying degrees of acoustic performance the duct can be
supplied with 25mm, 50mm or 75mm insulation. The standard production
length is 3 metres but lengths up to 5 metres are available,
alternatively cut lengths may be provided to specific order.
