Heat Recovery Ventilation
A fresh clean home environment
Continuing demand for lower energy consumption, with the associated reduction
in greenhouse gas emissions, means modern homes are built to be tightly sealed
and well insulated. Potentially this creates common problems associated with the
lack of ventilation, moisture build up in the home, lingering smells and a rapid
increase in dust mite levels causing respiratory problems.
RegaVent provides the
energy efficient solution to these problems with Whole House Heat Recovery Systems
maintaining a fresh atmosphere throughout the home and Central Vacuum for cleanliness.
A free no obligation design service is available with the options of supply or
supply and fit.
Regavent HRV Range
The wide range of Regavent air handling units for heat recovery ventilation
applications allows the correctly sized unit to be selected for almost all
domestic situations. The smallest unit for bungalows or flats has an air change
rate of 250 m3/h and the largest for 4/5 bedroom houses a rate of 450 m3/h.
The units are complemented by duct systems to allow installation in the most
difficult situations. From the standard bendable aluminium ducts available plain
or acoustically treated to low profile rigid ducts 110mm x 54mm or 300mm x 25mm
a configuration may be selected to suit any condition.
Regavent High Efficiency
To meet the ever increasing demand for greater energy savings in the home
Rega have introduced the Renovent Central Air Unit for Heat Recovery Ventilation.
The new unit incorporates a counter flow heat exchanger to recover up to 95% of
the heat from the extracted stale air.
The Renovent running costs are further
reduced by the use of DC motor fans which use nearly 70% less electricity than
conventional AC motors. A popular option with the Renovent unit is the
thermostatically controlled summer bypass which allows cooler outside air to be
ducted to the rooms during the hot summer months.
Central Air Units
For installation in houses and bungalows the central air unit is normally
loft mounted. This convenient location allows the distribution ductwork
to be routed in the roof space with vertical ducts dropping through cupboards
or cavity walls.
Flats require an alternative design of unit for wall mounting. The air
handling unit may be supplied with an integral cooker hood allowing installation
in the kitchen above the cooker hob.
The Regavent range allows the correct solution to be selected for all
domestic installations. Units are available with capacities from 250 m3/h
to 650 m3/h having AC or DC motors and heat recovery up to 95%.
