Application
Regaduct Flexible ducts may be used for short final connections between
rigid ducts and outlets or as complete duct systems. The self supporting
characteristics, low air flow resistance and light weight make Regaduct
ideal for long duct runs where its ease of installation make it an economical
alternative to rigid duct and fittings.
Construction
The duct is produced from a corrugated strip that is formed into a tube
with an overlap joint that combines a high level of both air tightness and
strength. The corrugated construction of the duct gives great flexibility,
with bend radii as low as 0.5D, and high crush strength. The tube may be
produced from aluminium, stainless steel or galvanised steel.
Range
Regaducts are available in diameters from 25mm to 550mm and in standard
lengths of 4metres. Diameters up to 200mm are available in coils of 30metres.
Three standard products are available. Regaduct AL is a robust laminated
construction aluminium duct that is ideal for use in long lengths. Regaduct
PAK is a single layer aluminium duct having extra deep corrugation to give
great flexibility for short connection in confined spaces. Regaduct SS is
a high strength stainless steel tube for corrosion and fire resistance.
All Rega flexible ducts are available plain or factory insulated with a
variety of insulation options.
