Application
Regaduct Non Metallic Flexible ducts are ideal for short final connections
between rigid ducts and outlets. Their use of materials having great natural
flexibility allows them to be used on constantly moving applications without
the stress related fatigue that is associated with metal ducts. Generally,
they have a high resistance to air flow and a tendency to droop between
supports making them unsuitable for use in long duct runs.
Construction
The tubes are manufactured using a helix of spring steel wire to support
internal and external layers of plastic based material which are adhesive
bonded to each other and to the wire helix. The plastic material may be
PVC for economy or a lamination of polyester and aluminium for greater fire
resistance.
Range
Regaduct PVC is available in white or brown and in diameters of 100, 125
and 150. Standard lengths of 1 Metre, 5 Metres and 10 Metres are available.
Regaduct PA is available in sizes from 80mm to 350mm and is supplied in
10 Metre lengths only.
