Application
Rega air control dampers are designed for use in all HVAC application
where accurate flow control is required. Their unique aluminium gear drive
mechanism ensures long life maintenance free operation in constantly modulating
installations. They are suitable for operating pressures up to 2000Pa.
Construction
The units have 1.2mm galvanised steel frames and aerofoil section blades.
A hardened aluminium gear drives each blade, these are mounted on shafts
running in nylon bearings sealed through the casing to prevent air leakage
through the duct wall. Units are available with linkage drive mechanisms
for parallel blade operation. The damper blades may be fitted with neoprene
edge seals to reduce leakage in the closed position.
Range
Type JS250 – 100mm blade units with 110mm deep casings. The maximum
module size is 1200mm wide x 1200mm high.
Type JS251 – 165mm blade units with 175mm deep casings. The maximum
module size is 2000mm wide x 2000mm high dependant on the pressure on the
damper in the closed position.
